Lawrence Whistler

With 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Larry is an accomplished investment professional. He began his career as a bond trader with Merrill Lynch in Los Angeles and New York City before transitioning into wealth management, where he has spent the past 20 years serving both institutional and high-net-worth clients.

Today, Larry serves as Executive Vice President and Co-Head of Family Wealth at Courier Capital, managing portfolios for a broad range of clients.

Larry holds a BBA from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from Emory University. He earned the CFA charter in 2003. He currently serves as a Trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee for Canisius High School in Buffalo, NY, and is a Board Member of Vastrax, Inc. Over the past 20 years, Larry has served on numerous nonprofit boards throughout Western New York.
